Debut: “Lights Out” by Big Deal

Kacey Underwood and Alice Costelloe of Big Deal recently unveiled their debut LP, Lights Out.  With its release comes a spattering of video fan fare for emosexuals the world over (my favorite of which is embedded below for your teared-filled eyes and delicate ears).

The sexy duo of lo-fi will be making their way to the United States in March for SXSW, with two special shows in New York and Los Angeles.  For a full listing of tour dates (on American soil), see below.

Lights Out was co-produced by Underwood and Dean Reid, and consists of 12 bittersweet, lovelorn songs (hey, there are days for those, too, neo-disco lovers):

If you like what you hear, be sure to follow them on FaceBook, Twitter, or Myspace.

Tour Dates

  • March 11th – Brooklyn, NY – The Glasslands (with 2:54)
  • March 12th – New York, NY – The Mercury Lounge (with 2:54)
  • March 13th-18th – SXSW – Austin, TX
  • March 20th – Los Angeles, CA – Echo (with 2:54)

  2. I like the word “emosexual.” That is awesome. Band ain’t bad, either. Or is it neither? God, grammar sucks.

Probably should not have watched this video while eating ice cream… song is rather decent though!
